TRAVEL TRACER - LIFE OF PI

Hi everyone, today I was the travel tracer for the Life of Pi, page 159 to the end (318). The travel tracer keeps track of the setting while reading through the plotline. The author of the book is Yann Martel.

About 90% of the section that we read was set on the waves of the pacific with just Pi and Richard Parker (tiger), where they were castaways and always fought for food, they also stumbled an island made of algae where he spent weeks there. But for a majority of the time he just spent his time on the lifeboat trying to survive with Richard Parker.

The mood, however was very dynamic and interesting in the story. It went from tragic while he wept over his family and his very unfortunate situation, to straight out happy because he caught a five foot dorado.

In all, there wasn't much about the setting in this part of the story, but it was still amazing to read and I recommend it.

Have a nice day,
Cosmo
